Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics
  • Minimum 45% aggregate (40% for SC/ST/OBC)
  • Valid WBJEE / JEE Main rank for B.Tech
  • Valid GATE score for M.Tech admission
  • Age: Maximum 21 years (23 for reserved categories)

Application Process

  1. Register on WBJEE / JOSAA portal
  2. Fill in preferred college & branch choices
  3. Attend counselling as per schedule
  4. Pay seat acceptance fee online
  5. Report to college with all original documents

Important Dates

  • WBJEE 2026: April 2026
  • Result Declaration: June 2026
  • Counselling begins: July 2026
  • Classes commence: August 2026
  • Last date for reporting: As per counselling schedule

Documents Required

Academic Documents

Madhyamik (10th) Marksheet, HS (12th) Marksheet & Certificate, WBJEE Rank Card / JEE Scorecard, and Transfer Certificate from last institution.

Identity & Domicile

Aadhaar Card, Domicile Certificate (West Bengal), Caste Certificate (if applicable), and recent passport-sized photographs (6 copies).

Fee Payment

Seat acceptance fee receipt, allotment letter from WBJEEB counselling, and medical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner.
